Statement of purpose

The Willows, based in Wolverhampton, specialises in supporting children between the ages of 8 and 18 who have complex needs such as mild to moderate learning difficulties, mental health challenges, and associated behaviours. The home provides medium to long-term care. Our multidisciplinary team offers a range of containing, intensive, flexible, and skilled interventions to address gaps in community and inpatient services. The Willows supports children as they prepare for the next steps in their lives, whether returning home, transitioning to another placement, or moving towards independence. Our child-centred care plans are designed to meet each child’s evolving needs.

Our vision for The Willows is to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can grow and develop. We focus on creating an environment that reflects a family home, promoting positive experiences and successful transitions into adulthood. The home fosters a therapeutic environment that helps children repair, connect, reflect, and thrive.
