Statement of purpose

Maple House is located in Tividale, Oldbury, and offers services for children aged 8 to 18 years who have learning disabilities, complex needs, Autism (ASD), and associated behaviours. Our team brings together many years of experience in working with children who have learning disabilities, ASD, and behavioural needs. We maintain a child-centred approach to care planning, utilising multidisciplinary assessments and interventions. The home also works indirectly with education providers to support day-to-day management of challenging behaviours, ensuring that the child remains at the heart of the care plan.

Our vision for Maple House is to provide the highest possible level of care to all children residing in the home, promoting a homely, relaxed, and nurturing environment. We encourage the children to develop practical, social, and daily living skills, supporting their transition from childhood into adulthood and helping them to fulfil their individual potential. The home is designed to be a safe and caring environment, reflective of a family home, where children receive a carefully planned package of care to maximise placement stability.
