CarePerspectives was founded on a simple yet profound belief: every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of the challenges they face. Recognizing an acute shortage of effective, integrated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for Looked After Children, we set out to fill this gap with a new approach to care—one that is both compassionate and evidence-based.

From the outset, we understood that supporting young people with complex mental health needs requires more than just a place to stay; it requires a holistic, personalised approach that addresses the unique needs of each individual. We introduced innovative care packages, such as the ‘CAMHS-PLUS’ in-reach program, designed to prevent hospital admissions and expedite discharges for those already in the system. By filling the gaps that exist in community and inpatient services, we have helped countless young people overcome their challenges and move toward brighter, healthier futures.
